We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician. This position will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical inspection, start‑up maintenance on the equipment we sell. This is a full‑time opportunity for an energetic go‑getter. An ideal candidate will be customer service oriented, work well with others, and coordinate heavily with Project Managers, Service Coordinators and customers.

• Perform electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance
• Perform specific preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing and cleaning of equipment
• Use experience and technical skills to determine service requirements
• Interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s)
• Represent the company positively to other trades, contractors and owners
• Advise owner/representative of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken
• Suggest additional services that are beneficial to customers
• Work in a team‑based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Submit required paperwork to Service Coordinator in a timely manner
• Work safely at all times and ensure that all safety measures are taken
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training plus 5+ years’ experience as a Service Technician in a commercial environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with hand‑held computer devices (e.g., smartphone, iPad)
• Electrical knowledge required; EPA Certification preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.)
• Ability to work in diverse conditions including mechanical equipment rooms, extreme weather, risk of electrical shock, climbing, and other hazards
• Ability to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel and regularly lift or move up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while balancing multiple duties

Perform duties in a field environment, traveling to multiple customer sites daily. Tasks include standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
