Water Parks Seasonal Maintenance Technician

, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an immediate opening for Maintenance Technician. The El Paso Water Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance of all water park equipment to ensure safe operations. This position will focus on repair, inspection and troubleshooting all water park attractions and establish a preventative maintenance program.  Each water park location features a unique theme with water slides, climbing walls, lazy rivers, kiddie playgrounds and leisure pools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills Must have ability to read measurements and math skills to calculate appropriate chemical dosing.

Two years’ experience in water quality/chemistry for pools and or water parks preferred.

Possess necessary knowledge and skills in HVAC, exhaust fans, pumps, hydraulics, drainage system, pool filtration, pool chemical controllers, basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and inter-personal skills.

Must have reliable personal transportation and the ability to travel between assigned park locations as needed.

Minimum Education & Experience High School diploma or GED and 1-year related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer Skills Physical requirements include the ability to communicate verbally, walk, climb, kneel, move around facility, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping and equipment operation. Ability to travel via air and auto required.
