Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

A distributor of quality industrial supplies is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic.

• Installs, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains industrial air compressor systems (rotary screw, reciprocating, centrifugal) to ensure operational efficiency.

• Performing preventive maintenance, rebuilding pumps, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues, and testing systems to meet safety standards.

• Perform oil changes, replace air/oil filters and separator elements, check belts, and adjust pressure settings.
• Diagnose malfunctions using mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical knowledge.
• Start-up new air compression systems, dryers, and air piping systems.
• Ensure all machinery operates in compliance with safety regulations. Comply with all customer safety regulations including background and drug testing if required.
• Maintain detailed records of service, repairs, and inspections.
• Discuss issues with clients and provide technical advice for equipment, often working in field service roles.

• Previous experience with industrial rotating machinery, hydraulics, or pneumatics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Often requires traveling to customer sites.
• Work environments include factories, manufacturing plants, and service shops.
• May require flexible hours to handle emergency repairs.

$18/hr.

-$20hr. based on skill level.

Position could become full time with the company.
