Job OverviewThis opportunity offers the chance to commission, service, and maintain the most advanced commercial equipment in the world. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will consult with them on comfort, building inefficiency, and other service‑related issues.
Responsibilities- Commission, service, and maintain advanced commercial heating and cooling systems.
- Consult with customers on comfort, building inefficiency, and other service‑related issues.
- Receive factory certification through the Service Technical Academy, with milestone recognition and monetary rewards.
- Have direct access to Factory Technical Support.
- Equip with safety equipment, uniforms, tools, cell phone, technical equipment, and vehicle required for the job.
- Assist Journeymen in the repair and service of centrifugal, absorption, screw, and scroll chillers.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial HVAC equipment.
- Recommend solutions to ensure facilities are running efficiently, identify enhancements, and provide labor and material quotes.
- Participate in weekend, night, and holiday call‑out service on a rotating basis.
- Adherence to the company Safety Program.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of commercial and/or industrial HVAC mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the maintenance and repair of three‑phase commercial HVAC equipment, RTUs, heat pumps, and fans.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipe fitters.
- Five (5) years of commercial or industrial HVAC work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance and minor repair of pumps, VFDs, air‑handling units, and rooftop units.
Pay Range: $31.94 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
