Deem Structural Services, LLC is currently seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the following position to work on projects located in El Paso, TX:
- Journeyman Ironworkers
* For the above position, you MUST have experience in Structural Steel Erection. These positions are not for industrial shutdowns, pipe fitting, fabrication, or PEMB erection.

El Paso, TX - Duration: ~8 months
- Hours:
60 hrs/week
Deem Structural Services is an AISC Certified Steel Erector with a project focus on new construction and expansion of hospitals, commercial buildings, standard office buildings and medical office buildings, entertainment venues, and schools. We have projects across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
Responsibilities- Knowledgeable in layout, rigging, connecting, bolting and welding steel by following prints and instructions while guaranteeing all quality and safety standards are met.
- Drill holes into steel.
- Bolt or weld pieces in place.
- Tighten cables.
- Read and follow blueprints, sketches and other instructions.
- Operate forklift (8‑12K), boom lift (40‑125’), scissor lift (19‑35’).
- Radio and hand signals.
- Identify safety risks and the precautions/procedures to eliminate those risks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs and withstand the physical demands of erecting steel.
- Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical.
