Job Overview
Entry‑Level Commercial Energy Auditor – ElPaso, TX. Join a team that meets commercial and industrial business owners to install energy efficiency measures, conduct audits, verify results, and gather technical data across a defined territory.
Responsibilities- Travel daily within the defined territory using a company vehicle.
- Conduct entry‑level commercial energy audits for small and mid‑sized facilities.
- Engage customers and contractors to explain program offerings, encourage participation, and answer basic questions.
- Accurately document inspections, installations, and customer interactions in accordance with program requirements.
- Perform on‑site installation of energy efficiency measures, including physical labor and use of basic tools.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and Escalate basic technical or installation issues to program staff as needed.
- Reside in or around ElPaso, TX and be willing to travel frequently.
- At least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Capability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds and use power tools.
- Experience in construction, facility maintenance, or installation is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and contractors.
- Physically able to bend, crouch, kneel, climb ladders, and work for extended periods while standing or walking.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug test and maintain a satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
- Compliance with any applicable DOT requirements and transportation regulations.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling frequently.
- Walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods.
- Repetitive hand motions.
- Lifting, carrying, or pushing up to 50 pounds.
- Climbing and working from ladders.
- Use of power tools.
Monday‑Friday, 8AM–5PM Central Time (schedule may vary based on customer and site requirements). This is an in‑field position; no work‑from‑home arrangement. Provided on‑the‑job training accompanies the role.
CompensationHourly
: $18.80 – $28.30 USD, based on internal equity, market data, skills, and prior experience.
