Full-time
Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems, including pipes, water heaters, and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Diagnose plumbing issues, conduct inspections, and identify leaks, blockages, and other problems.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate with Master Plumber to explain plumbing issues, provide cost estimates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Oversee and mentor apprentice plumbers and less experienced workers.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program in plumbing.
- Valid journeyman plumber license is required.
- Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in the plumbing field.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials; ability to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with clients and explain plumbing issues clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance with plumbing codes and regulations.
Salary: $20 - $22 per hour
