As a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will take a pivotal role in leading and supporting field service activities to ensure the highest level of service delivery and customer satisfaction. You will leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair advanced building automation systems, while guiding and mentoring junior technicians.
You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor
, and you’ll work out of our El Paso, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the operational efficiency and reliability of building automation systems, directly contributing to the safety, energy efficiency, and productivity of our customers' facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support field service technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of building automation systems.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime for customers.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians to enhance team capability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize service delivery.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Proven experience in field service technician roles, preferably in building automation or related systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of building automation systems, sensors, control systems, and energy management technologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and software used in building automation system maintenance and repair and fire alarm systems.
- Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, HVAC, or related field.
- Experience leading or mentoring field service teams.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in building systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
