C&L Pump Service Inc, is looking for an experienced, hardworking, self-driven Service Technician in the El Paso area. The primary duties of a Service Technician are to perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance on equipment, provide great customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner, and maintain excellent safety standards.

The ideal candidate should have applicable petroleum experience. However, we are willing to train!

• Followallcustomerprotocolsandproceduresincludingcustomer’ssafetyandhousekeepingguidelineswhen performing repairs at customer site
• Communicatewithwarehousepersonnelinordertoverifyinventoryandreplenishwhatisneededontruck
• HighschooldiplomaorGEDrequired
• Basiccomputerskills
• 1-yearexperienceinpetroleumrelatedservicepreferred,willprovidetraining
• Basicunderstandingofmechanicalandelectricalsystems
• Troubleshooting skills/logical problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’slicensewithacleandrivingrecord
• Strongcommunicationskillsandcustomerrelationsskills
• Goodworkethic

• Experience or Certification(s) in one or more of the following (preferred)
• Gilbarco Dispenser
• Wayne Dispenser
• Gas Bill Fleet
• Passport
• Veeder Root
• Verifone
• Journeyman Electrician

• Exhibit a professional demeanor, and develop customer relations and superior service
• To frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and work in a high traffic area
• Work flexible hours
• Work independently as a member of a team
• Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors)
• Ability to safely operate personal hand tools
• Ability to properly use a multi-meter
• Pass a drug test and background check
