Job Description
We are hiring experienced Concrete Form Setters for a major data center construction project in El Paso, TX. This role requires expertise in structural concrete formwork, including forming and setting beam walls, stem walls, curbs, slab edge forms, and embedded components, while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Build, install, brace, and strip concrete forms for beam walls, stem walls, curbs, equipment pads, and foundations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and concrete placement plans.
- Establish grades, elevations, and form alignment to meet project specifications and tolerances.
- Install embeds, anchor bolt templates, sleeves, and block outs as required for MEP and equipment installations.
- Verify dimensions, elevations, and formwork before concrete placement.
- Collaborate with laborers, finishers, operators, and survey crews to prepare areas for concrete pours.
- Perform form modifications and repairs as needed throughout the construction process.
- Adhere to all site-specific safety requirements, including data center and contractor safety protocols.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial or industrial concrete carpentry experience.
- Proven experience forming and setting beam walls, stem walls, curbs, foundations, and slab edge forms.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Experience with wood and metal forming systems.
- Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
- OSHA 10 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must have experience with concrete carpentry.
- Proficiency in concrete form setting.
- Ability to work 60 hours a week (Mon-Thursday 10-hour days and Fri-Sat 8-hour days).
- Experience in data center construction.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00/hr.
