Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting building operations and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, proactive problem‑solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: El Paso, TX
Pay Rate: $30/hr
What’s the Job?- Monitor and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, water cooling, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, including boilers, pumps, valves, and piping.
- Oversee contractor activities within the building, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe environment for staff and occupants.
- Manage inventory of tools and supplies, prepare purchase orders, and ensure availability of necessary materials.
- Minimum of 5 years of facility-related work experience, including leadership and supervisory roles.
- HVAC and EPA certifications are mandatory; electrical certifications are also required.
- Experience with CMMS systems, specifically Corrigo, is essential.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and plumbing, with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and maintenance management.
