OverviewWe are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Journeyperson / Electrician to represent Tri-State Electric LTD.
Responsibilities- Verifies electrical project plan drawings for inconsistencies or mistakes
- Installs, removes, splices, connects, and programs electrical equipment and components, services, circuits, and fuses
- Inspects, tests, and troubleshoots electrical equipment and installations
- Locates underground electrical lines
- Operates equipment such as bucket trucks and man-lifts
- Other duties as assigned
- journeyman Electrician license
- OSHA-30 class
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training
- valid driver's license
- clear motor vehicle record
Experience:
- 5 years journeyman or combined apprentice and journeyman
- hand grasping 40 lb (frequently)
- lifting 40 lb shoulder high (frequently)
- lifting 25 lb over the head (frequently)
- carrying 40 lb (frequently)
- pushing and pulling 40 lb (frequently)
- steep climbing> 15 ft (occasionally)
- working on> 25 ft elevation (occasionally)
- standing > 5 hr/day (frequently)
- kneeling or crouching> 3 hr/day (occasionally)
- sitting 3 hr/day (frequently)
- walking 0.75 miles/day (frequently)
- bucket truck, man-lift
- power tools, hand tools
- generators, compressors
- power, voltage, and ampere meters
- steel-toe boots, work gloves, and hearing protection
- non-commercial vehicles
