Electrical Mechanic

Electrical Maintenance Mechanic needed in the airport area of El Paso. Pay rate: $24/hr – $27/hr depending on experience. Shift: Monday – Friday swing shift. Must be available for 1st and 2nd shift. Weekly pay direct deposit available. Medical/vision/dental.

Job responsibilities include: trouble shooting all electrical cabinets and test equipment, three/single phase 240/480 cable and conduit installation, working with breaks & clutches, roller chains and bearing installation, hydraulic and pneumatic, basic plumbing, repair pumps.

Ability to work long hours, read, write and follow written and verbal instructions, perform required functions with a minimum of direct supervision in tasks of routine, apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks, readily learn and apply new information and methods to work in assigned area, maintain appropriate licenses, training and certifications, calculate figures and dimensions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

This position is in a manufacturing environment with loud noises. Must be available to work overtime. High school graduate or equivalent. Vocational training or technical trade school preferred. Strong mechanical abilities. Familiar with automatic controls system and electrical prints and diagrams, knowledge in relays, switches solenoids, circuit breakers, contacts, motor starters, transformers.
