Fire Alarm Technician – Fire Alarm Systems | El Paso, TX
Join Next Level Technician as a Fire Alarm Technician in El Paso, TX! Earn $38-$48/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low voltage staffing. This is an approximately 2-year project based in a controlled, air-conditioned manufacturing facility.

Candidates should be open to travel to other FTI locations nationwide once the El Paso project is completed, creating opportunities for continued work and career growth.
Responsibilities
- Install, pull, route, dress, label, and terminate fire alarm and VESDA piping/wiring within hyperscale data center manufacturing environments
- Install fire alarm devices and components within hot aisle containment systems, skids, and related assemblies
- Perform fire alarm pipe, tubing, vessel, and wiring installation according to project plans and specifications
- Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints
- Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systems
- Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
- Install and support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.)
- Be willing to travel to other FTI project locations as needed for future assignments
Requirements
- 5+ years demonstrated work history/knowledge in Fire Alarm Systems
- Current Texas fire alarm licensing/credentialing required for this position
- Experience with VESDA piping and/or fire alarm systems is strongly preferred
- Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements (current codes)
- Experience troubleshooting panels, devices, and programming systems (Edwards, Silent Knight, Fire Lite, etc. a plus)
- BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)

- Reliable transportation and ability to report to the El Paso, TX facility.
- Candidates willing to travel long-term to support future FTI projects throughout the country are strongly preferred.
