If you are an Electrical Apprentice who is willing to travel, wants to work on big commercial projects, and wants to make strong money while building your electrical experience, this Traveling Electrical Apprentice opportunity was built for you.

This is W2 employment, not independent contractor work. You get the earning opportunity that comes with traveling electrical work, including overtime and per diem for eligible employees, plus the stability and benefits of being a company employee.

$32 to $38 per hour plus overtime at 1.5x (overtime daily) + daily workday per diem.

Total earnings potential
up to $4,000 per week.

Working six 10-hour days, total earnings potential is approximately $3,140 to $3,710 per week, or $54,000 to $64,000 over four months.

Traveling Electrical Apprentice – Your

Job Duties

As a Traveling Electrical Apprentice, you will work hands on alongside Journeyman Electricians performing commercial electrical work on a data center new build. You will:

  • Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems
  • Run conduit, including 3/4” and 1” EMT, pull wire, and terminate electrical connections under supervision
  • Support electrical installation work for a data center new build, including fire electrical
  • Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, plans, and wiring diagrams
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and support diagnostic work alongside Journeyman Electricians
  • Follow NEC requirements, project specifications, and job site safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Transport and organize tools, materials, and electrical equipment as needed
Traveling Electrical Apprentice – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)

You have:

  • Ability to perform physically demanding electrical construction work including lifting, climbing and working in confined spaces
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment background and drug screening
  • Prior experience performing hands on commercial or industrial electrical work
  • Prior experience running EMT conduit and pulling wire
  • Experience reading basic electrical blueprints, schematics, or wiring diagrams
  • Prior experience working on data center projects or other large-scale commercial / industrial
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Traveling Electrical Apprentice – Benefits for You

After the current project concludes, there is an opportunity to keep traveling with the company and continue onto another project in New Mexico anticipated to last approximately 18 months.
