Project Length: 4-5 Weeks
We are seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians and Electricians for an upcoming 4-5 week project in Katy, TX.
Qualified candidates should have extensive experience with fire alarm systems, electrical wiring, installation, troubleshooting, and blueprint reading
. This position requires someone who can work safely and independently in a fast-paced project environment.
- Install fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings.
- Perform electrical wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
. - Diagnose fire alarm system issues and complete necessary repairs.
- Inspect and maintain existing fire alarm systems.
- Ensure work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other team members.
- Document installations, testing, repairs, and system configurations.
- 10+ years of Fire Alarm Technician and/or electrical experience preferred
- Strong fire alarm installation and troubleshooting experience
- Extensive knowledge of fire alarm components and wiring practices
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dependable and safety-conscious
- Good communication skills
