Clinical Psychologist – El Paso, TX

Full‑time position to conduct one‑time, non‑treatment Veteran Disability Exams.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

• Must be a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist in at least one U.S. state.
• Psychiatrists/Neurologists must be board certified or have completed a 2‑year residency.
• Psychologists must hold a PhD or PsyD with a major in Psychology; specialty studies must focus on adult population such as Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (child‑focused programs not acceptable).
• Certifications:
  
  active Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Graduate from an APA‑accredited doctorate or post‑doctorate program.
• Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and commitment to excellent service.
• Computer proficiency:
  Microsoft Office Suite and EMR platforms.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and informed‑care decision‑making skills.
• Work independently and manage time to meet quality service and deadlines.

• Prior experience in clinical settings.
• Prior VA or C&P experience.

• Review mental health history and conduct one‑time, non‑treatment behavioral health compensation and pension exams for Veterans.
• Capture responses via web‑based examination form; complete all documentation electronically and send exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
• Common assessment reasons include PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
