Job Summary

In this role you will assist in the preparation and serving of meals, maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, and assist with inventory control.

Requirements
  • Food Handlers Card.
  • One year experience in commercial kitchen or drug abuse treatment setting.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area that meets or exceeds licensure and health inspections requirements.
  • Monitors clients while they eat ensuring that the dining area is clean and safe; reports all problems to the supervisor.
  • Responsible for receiving groceries and maintaining an accurate inventory.
  • Responsible for ongoing communication with external food vendors to ensure proper meals requests.
  • Conducts cleaning checks and communicates with staff about cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment.
  • Cooperates with other shift personnel to ensure smooth operation of facility and ensures safety of residents and security of building during shift.
  • Carries out all other assignments to meet the goals and objectives of Aliviane Inc.

    Required/Preferred

    Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Must be in recovery for substance use and/or mental health for a minimum of two years.
    • Must be seeking certification as an RSPS.
