Job Overview

Telework-Remote, TX (Must live in Texas);
May become Hybrid.

This position is for a skilled People Soft Financials developer on a critical migration project. The successful candidate will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently perform complicated tasks, and may lead and direct the work of others.

Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing and debugging to support the organization’s ERP applications.
  • Ensure that software can be completely integrated into the ERP system.
  • Coordinate software integration and maintain technical documentation.
  • Analyze the legacy system built on the .NET framework, reverse‑engineer business logic, and extract critical data.
  • Perform standard People Soft development tasks as required.
Candidate

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8 or more years of experience, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • At least 2 years of development experience with People Tools.
  • At least 2 years of experience with People Tools 8.59 or higher.
  • At least 2 years of experience with an advanced Oracle database.
  • Ability to read and interpret .NET code (C#, ) and SQL Server stored procedures.
  • At least 2 years of legacy to People Soft complex data migrations.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government).
  • Experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Experience working with the Scrum framework.

Note
:
Expected start date 05/01/2026 and expected end date 08/31/2026.

The position is Telework‑Remote, TX
. Program will only allow candidates who are Texas residents. Successful candidate will be expected to be renewed for FY’27 (which begins 09/01/26) and may be renewed for up to an additional 2 years.

Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. The worker may be required to work outside normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested.
