Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tariffs Clerk to coordinate the domestic and international movement of freight. This role ensures all shipments meet regulatory requirements, are documented accurately, and arrive on time.
- Coordinate the movement of materials and finished goods for domestic and international shipments.
- Prepare all required shipping documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Process special shipments, ensuring timely delivery, proper paperwork, and accurate tracking.
- Create domestic and international invoices for all shipments.
- Monitor transportation providers to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Communicate regularly with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and domestic carrier representatives.
- Generate, review, and interpret traffic and transportation reports as needed.
- Analyze and communicate internally allocated bonded materials.
- Assist with special projects or other duties as assignment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Ability to work any shift if needed.
- Availability for overtime based on business needs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
