About the Role
Coleman Worldwide Moving has immediate openings for CDL driving positions in your area. We are a full-service moving company, and this position involves loading, transporting, and unloading household goods. Driving for Coleman will give you the opportunity to lead moving crews, interact with new customers daily, and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities- Transport goods using a company truck.
- Lead the crew in loading shipment onto and/or off of the truck.
- Inspect shipment prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
- Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
- Assist as needed in loading trucks and/or containers for forward movement via interstate commerce.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on the truck, moving equipment, interior and exterior of the truck, straps, tensioners, walk boards, etc.
- Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
- Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
Skills and Abilities
- Willingness to travel locally, intrastate and/or interstate.
- Ability to operate a box truck or tractor trailer (as applicable to your CDL qualification).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality, ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required. Real , Commercial Driver’s License, or Driver’s License preferred.
Working Conditions- Indoors and outdoors.
- Lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent squatting, bending, and use of stairs.
- Driving for long periods of time.
- 40 hours of vacation pay after 1 year of employment.

Summer Intern Scholarship Program: $500 for the first full summer internship, $750 for the second, $1,000 for the third or more. Applicants must be summer seasonal associates in a non‑management position, show proof of enrollment in school for current year’s fall classes, work full-time through the season, and have supervisor acknowledgment of good work performance and attendance.
