Ensures customers' satisfaction by making pick‑ups and deliveries in a proficient and timely manner. This position reports directly to the Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager, depending on site personnel configuration.

• Delivers messages, telegrams, documents, packages, and other items to business establishments and performs the following duties:
• Travels to delivery sites on foot, by bicycle, automobile, public conveyance or customer vehicles.
• Keeps a log of items received and delivered.
• Obtains receipts for articles delivered.
• Follows appropriate chain‑of‑custody protocols (e.g., TRAC).
• Performs vehicle maintenance such as checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel.
• Performs pick‑up and delivery jobs by accurately following a map and/or written instructions.
• Follows RICOH Service Excellence performance requirements.
• Maintains compliance with state and company standards by operating a vehicle safely and lawfully and following company guidelines in the event of an accident or injury.
• Responds to client requests, ensuring order accuracy and timely delivery with paperwork that is accurate and legible.
• Presents a professional appearance to clients by dressing in professional attire according to company standards.
• Communicates vehicle safety by maintaining routine maintenance on all delivery vehicles (oil change, tire rotation, etc.) per company specifications.
• Meets company attendance standards by reporting to work punctually and working all scheduled hours and any required overtime.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Works independently, making sound decisions with the needs of the customer and the business in mind.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Experience with electronic communication devices and experience in a team environment.
• Technical ability.
• Computer skills, email basics, TRAC.

• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read maps, follow written instructions, and complete paperwork accurately; good reading comprehension.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Couriers spend most of their time alone, making deliveries, and usually are not closely supervised. Those who deliver by bicycle are exposed to all weather conditions and traffic hazards. Car, van, and truck couriers must sometimes carry heavy loads.

They also deal with difficult parking situations, traffic jams, and road construction.

When in the office, the environment provides adequate lighting, ventilation, and a normal temperature and noise level based on the geographic location.

Work assignments are diversified; interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data, and instruction. Prepare, provide, and convey diversified information.

Work requires walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that can weigh as much as 50 lbs.

Requires moderate dexterity and regular application of basic skills such as calculator use, keyboard, hand tools, and eye/hand coordination.
