Job Title

Plays a fundamental role in the coordination of the arrival, operation, and departure of vessels and cargo. This professional is responsible for managing the necessary documentation, schedules, and communication between ships, terminals, carriers, and internal teams, thus ensuring efficient operations and compliance with regulations. Constant interaction with external partners and presence in port facilities are essential to verify the development of operations and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

• Prepare and review the necessary shipping documentation for maritime operations.
• Coordinate with port authorities and service providers to ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Monitor cargo handling and resolve any operational issues that arise during the process.
• Track shipments and update systems with accurate information.
• Provide status reports to clients and internal teams on the progress of operations.
• Verify operations in terminals or port facilities to ensure quality and safety in cargo handling.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional studies or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or a related field are valued.
• Experience in maritime transport, freight forwarding, port operations, or logistics, although not mandatory; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills, including the use of office software and logistics or transportation management systems.
• Operational logistics skills, including the coordination of cargo movements.
• Basic knowledge of port operations or terminals and familiarity with maritime transportation documentation and procedures.
• Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, carriers, port authorities, and internal teams, clearly and respectfully.
• Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple ship or shipment schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
