• Load, unload, and deliver equipment to customer sites and branch locations, maintaining professional appearance of vehicles
• Maintain proper paperwork and provide basic operational instruction to customers on safe equipment use
• Complete and maintain daily truck logs, fuel and mileage reports, IFTA, DOT logs, and delivery/pick-up documentation
• Manage company-provided fuel card usage and report any unsafe conditions regarding rental equipment
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and readiness, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT requirements
• Coordinate with the counter and shop personnel and assist other departments when needed
• Demonstrate safe operation of equipment to customers and document any equipment damage at pickup
• Comply with DOT Federal Motor Carrier regulations and all company policies
• Other duties as assigned by management

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of professional driving experience
• 3+ years of administrative/clerical experience
• 3+ years of customer service experience
• 1+ year working knowledge of construction equipment

• Valid Driver’s License (state of employment)
• CDL Class A tanker certification
• Excellent driving record (no DUI, suspensions, or DOT violations)

• Complete and maintain daily truck log, fuel and mileage reports, IFTA paperwork, and DOT logs
• Accurately manage day-to-day use and reporting of fuel card
• Report unsafe conditions regarding equipment
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform required inspections
• Assist with workload in other departments as needed
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Communicate equipment information with Counter and Shop personnel
• Conduct daily post-trip inspections and document findings
• Ensure vehicle is ready for next-day business, including fueling and pre-loads
• Learn equipment to ensure safe operation and demonstrate use to customers
• Inspect equipment for damage and report findings to Rental Counter
• Understand and comply with DOT regulations
