OTR program Manager

The OTR Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in El Paso, TX, responsible for overseeing day-to-day over-the-road transportation operations and program performance. This role includes managing driver schedules and routes, monitoring load status, and ensuring timely deliveries that meet client expectations. The OTR Program Manager coordinates closely with dispatch, drivers, and customers to resolve service issues, optimize capacity, and maintain safety and compliance standards.

Daily responsibilities also involve tracking key performance indicators, preparing operational reports, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. The person in this role will collaborate with leadership on strategic planning for OTR programs, support training initiatives, and help maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

• Strong transportation operations and logistics management skills, including experience with over-the-road programs and route planning.
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems, scheduling tools, and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, email, reporting tools).
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with drivers, internal teams, and clients, and to resolve issues promptly.
• Organizational and problem-solving abilities, including attention to detail, time management, and decision-making under time-sensitive conditions.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices relevant to OTR transportation.
• Experience supervising or leading teams in a transportation or logistics environment is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in El Paso, TX, with flexibility to respond to operational needs that may occur outside standard business hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics, supply chain, or business management is a plus.
• Prior experience in a similar role within a trucking, freight, or logistics company is preferred.
