We are seeking an experienced Director of Maintenance (DOM) to lead maintenance operations for a Learjet 60/60XR fleet in El Paso, Texas. This is a key leadership role focused on aircraft safety, regulatory compliance, fleet reliability, and continuous operational improvement.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned aviation maintenance professional with strong leadership and technical expertise who can build a high-performing maintenance organization while ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient aircraft operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead maintenance operations for the Learjet 60/60XR fleet.
  • Ensure aircraft airworthiness and compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Oversee hangar maintenance, avionics, Maintenance Control, and related functions.
  • Establish and maintain clear maintenance standards and procedures.
  • Improve aircraft availability, dispatch reliability, and maintenance turnaround times.
  • Analyze recurring maintenance discrepancies and identify root causes.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Strengthen technical capabilities in avionics, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
  • Partner with Flight Operations, Safety, vendors, and FAA representatives.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and leaders.
  • Monitor fleet performance and communicate maintenance priorities.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and maintenance risks.
  • Travel and respond to operational requirements, including AOG events.
Requirements
  • Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required.
  • Must meet Director of Maintenance requirements under 14 CFR § 119.71
    .
  • Significant aviation maintenance leadership experience in Part 135, Part 121, or similar operations
    .
  • Strong technical judgment and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse aviation stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel and respond to operational needs.
  • Ability to work safely in office, hangar, and field environments.
