Shipping​/Receiving Specialist

• Schedule - Shift - Hours Full Time - Days - 6A - 2:30P

Receives, stores, and issues materials, equipment and supplies. Compiles stock records and requisitions to verify receipts, requisitions, or invoices. Examines stock to verify conformance with specifications. Monitors inventories for proper level, maintenance and usage. Maintains records in Lawson Materials Management System.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of up-to-date stock handling methods.
• Knowledge of computerized inventory systems.
• Proficient in the operation of personal computers, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Skill in lifting heavy packages and objects.
• Skill in operating forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.

Required Experience:

Work Experience:

Three years experience with supply/shipping and receiving.

Knowledge of Medical/Surgical supplies and equipment.

Data entry experience or equivalent computer training/education.
