Warehouse Administrative Support

Position at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc.

Provide administrative support for Warehouse Operations in Finished Goods.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow up on MP&L requirements as per Customer direction, confirm shipments (ASNs), complete paperwork for each customer, follow up with Supervisor for abnormalities.
• Creating Operational Flow Charts, Procedures, and Work Instructions for Metrics reporting to Management.
• Create, process and track requisitions / BPCS entries / reporting P&L Reports / GL Corrections
• Conduct internal safety audits, MSDS Compliance Support, OSHA Compliance support
• Support in physical inventories of warehouse.
• Receiving and Shipping Documents / Cycle Count Documents / Maintaining Record Retention Report
• Issuance of 8D reports, investigation and analysis
• Tracking and managing receiving and shipping reports
• Resolving receiving and inventory discrepancies / creating & issuing DNRs
• Other duties as assigned by Department Manager or Company needs.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED Required
• 3-5 years clerical experience in a warehouse operations settings
• Strong mathematical skills required
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, inventory management systems)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Team player and positive attitude.
