Material Handler

Overview

Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is a leading manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States. We are looking for an entry‑level material handler to support our warehouse operations.

• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklift, order picker) to pick customer orders and convey them to packing or shipping areas.
• Perform warehouse duties including pulling/assembling orders, checking outbound accuracy, inventory checks, restocking, labeling vendor products, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Handle receiving duties: receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns, and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Maintain a clean, organized facility and enforce safety rules.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified sit‑down forklift operator.
• One year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication, record‑keeping, and listening skills.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Good measurement capability.
• Must be Dal‑Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Requires regular standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Average picks per hour: 25. Pick weights 40–70 lbs (65% 50–70 lbs).
