Material Handler - D Shift; El Paso, Texas

Dal‑Tile is currently seeking an eager and motivated entry‑level material handler. Candidates should have basic warehouse experience, be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs, and be certified as a sit‑down forklift operator.

Operate various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and convey orders to the packing station or shipping area.

• Pull and assemble customer orders
• Check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness
• Conduct inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product
• Maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.)
• Move, store, and replenish material
• Perform daily cycle counts

• Receive and unload inbound material
• Process inbound shipments
• Stock material
• Process customer returns
• Notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims

Operate forklift and order picker equipment.

Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

Maintain a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.

Perform other related duties as required.

High school diploma or equivalent, certified sit‑down forklift operator. One year of previous warehouse experience preferred.

• Dal‑Tile certification to operate powered industrial trucks required

The role involves standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasional climbing or balancing. Lifting and/or moving up to 75 lbs. Average of 25 picks per hour, with 65% of picks weighing 50–70 lbs and 35% weighing 20–40 lbs. Visual requirements include close, peripheral, and focus adjustment. Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, varying temperatures, and loud noise.
