Inventory Scanner - $19.00/HOUR A local company needs Inventory Scanners. An Inventory Scanner uses handheld devices to record, track, and update stock levels in warehouses or retail environments, ensuring accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and updating computer systems. Key responsibilities include scanning items as they enter or leave, sorting inventory, performing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate stock counts. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Scanning and Tracking:
Accurately scan barcodes and RFID tags on items as they are received, moved, or shipped to update inventory records in a warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory software. Inventory Accuracy:
Verify that physical stock matches digital records, identify discrepancies, and report any issues to management. Data Entry and Record Keeping:
Input data into inventory systems to ensure that all stock levels and movements are accurately documented. Cycle Counting:
Perform regular physical counts of a subset of inventory to ensure the ongoing accuracy of the inventory database. Sorting and Organizing:
Sort and organize inventory after it has been scanned to maintain an orderly warehouse or stockroom. Equipment Maintenance:
Use and maintain computers, radio frequency (RF) scanners, and other necessary warehouse equipment. Required

Skills and Qualifications Attention to Detail:
Essential for accurate scanning, data entry, and identifying discrepancies in stock counts. Accuracy and Efficiency:
The ability to work quickly and correctly in a fast-paced environment. Basic Computer

Skills:

Proficiency with computers and inventory management software. Manual Dexterity:
The physical ability to handle handheld scanners and manipulate items as needed. Communication
