Job Description

Professional Tutor(s) - Part-time position(s).

Redlands Community College is seeking enthusiastic and student‑focused individuals to join our Academic Center for Enhancement (A.C.E.) as part‑time Professional Tutor(s) in the areas of Mathematics and Science. These positions offer up to 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Provide individual and small group tutoring sessions in approved subject areas

* Support students in developing the skills to become a successful, independent learner

* Reinforce and clarify course concepts as presented by instructors

* Incorporate effective study strategies to enhance academic performance and long‑term mastery

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in the content area or a closely related field

* Professional Tutor(s) must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with students and faculty

* Commitment to fostering a positive, encouraging, and academically focused environment
