Job Description

Redlands Community College is seeking candidates to apply for the Upward Bound Tutorposition for Calumet High School. This is a federally funded, part-time position workingapproximately 1 hour per week during the academic year (August through May). The position provides academic support to high school students participating in the TRIO Upward Bound program.

Responsibilities
  • Tutoring students in Math, Science, and English
  • Supporting students in developing effective study habits and academic strategies
  • Maintaining accurate student attendance and progress records
  • Upholding all program policies and procedures
  • Serving as a positive role model for program participants
Qualifications
  • Must be a certified teacher in the state of Oklahoma or have previously held teachercertification
  • Demonstrated dependability, leadership ability, and strong moral character
  • Ability to communicate effectively with high school students from diverse backgrounds
  • Commitment to supporting first-generation and income-eligible college-bound students
  • Experience working with TRIO or similar outreach programs is preferred.
