Location:
Surgery Center at Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City (W Memorial Rd)
Shift: Full Time (36 hours/week), 3 12-hr shifts/week and every other weekend
Schedule:
7a-7p
Interventional Resource Nurses utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications- Education:
Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program - Licensure:
Personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements. - Experience:
1 year of experience. - Certifications:
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses), OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization), S.T.A.B.L.E. (Six Assessment & Care Modules), C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification), and other unit-specific certifications as required.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
