Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with campus staff and first responders as needed;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior;
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity, verifying credentials and/or directing students, staff, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site procedures;
Support campus-related operations by reporting hazards, unusual conditions, and/or policy violations, and by assisting with escorts, lockups, and other assigned security-related duties
