The Production Foreman is responsible for operations, repairs, and construction concerning production sites. The foreman provides on‑site direction and leadership for workers to complete jobs within specific guidelines that include quality standards, time requirements and budget considerations. Responsibilities include planning, customer relations, material management, and quality control.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the day‑to‑day field operations of projects, including safe work practices, workforce, materials, and equipment.
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate company workforce on the project.
- Work closely with other personnel and contractors to oversee and ensure the assigned scope of work is completed safely, on schedule, and in a quality manner.
- Plan and lay out areas of work in advance to ensure needed allocation of daily workforce, material, and equipment.
- Coordinate all work with the teams and contractors on the project.
- Assist the team with pricing of any scope changes and change orders.
- Monitor workforce during installations and progress to ensure quality control throughout the project.
- Manage daily progress reports and weekly timesheets for the team.
- Track company tools and equipment and ensure they are maintained in good operating order.
- Monitor production charts, tank levels, pressures, flow rates, etc. through Scada system.
- 5+ years of experience in production sites.
- Excellent organizational skills with careful attention to detail and timely follow‑through.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑directed and capable of handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Effective in stressful, time‑sensitive environments.
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work overtime on evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to perform essential duties in a variety of weather conditions.
- High standard of integrity and professionalism.
- React to potentially dangerous situations quickly and appropriately.
- Stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs., bend, with visual acuity, hearing, and speaking ability.
- Climb 25‑foot‑high ladders and stairwells.
- Work in hot and cold weather.
