What You Will Do
  • Review quotes, installation and repair plans to ensure a thorough understanding of customer needs and the parts and process required to address the need.
  • Explain installation, service or repair plans, and invoices to customers; discuss cost or time overruns with team leader or manager.
  • Execute installations, repairs or service plans and document results.
  • Create product failure analysis reports.
  • Develop good working relationships with customers through professional communication.
  • Develop and maintain application competency in Production Automation, including SCADA, telemetry, Windows operating environment, database technologies, Internet and networking. Wireless communication competency is required.
  • Ensure an accurate account of all truck inventory.
  • Know and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Work weekends and overtime as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Four years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong mechanical skills – perform mechanical field maintenance work to ensure optimal availability and reliability of artificial lift equipment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills – listen to understand input, feedback and concerns; respond timely and effectively.
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving skills – identify and resolve problems, develop alternative solutions, work well in group problem‑solving situations, use reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Good organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision – prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; plan for additional resources.

Physical Demands

Role is deemed safety‑sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.

Must be able to lift and carry 80 lbs. regularly, and 100 lbs. occasionally.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

Employee is required to occasionally walk which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.

Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push.

Employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non‑weather) and extreme heat (non‑weather).

Employee must wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.

Employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non‑weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and work with explosives.

Employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places and vibration.

Employee is exposed to loud noise level in the work environment.
