Detailed Description

• Lifts and places ... 150pounds with an other person frequently during the two work shift

• General upkeep of rig and drilling floor; includes regular sweeping, shoveling, cleaning, painting, washing of equipment and related housekeeping duties

• Use rounge check, slips, and to nings to propagate handle train and connect / break sections of drill pipe

• Assist in moves: help with rig-up / rig-down, nipple up and down blowout, assists with general assembly and maintenance and help prep new location

• Regular check rig and equipment for any problems and safety issues on ongoing basis

• Assist with inspections, slippings and cutting drilling line

• Responsible picking up, putting down tubulars, attaching or detaching or lying down flares and degaussing lines

• Assist with printer operations: soak, decontamination and replacement required when needed

• Maintains parking conditions, awareness to type of conditions, exposures, including temperature conditions as various exposures common to tasks

• Work in a heavy industrial environment which includes working ... etc.

• Takes initiative and work independence during downtime

• Support other crew members ... etc.

• Other duties as assigned that may be outside of this job description

• Ability to stand and walk for an animation for 3.5 hours and up to 12 hours without being able to sit and while wearing steel-toed boots

• Able to repetitively climb stairs and be able to lift and carry 50 pounds independently while walking on uneven surfaces

• Must be comfortable working at heights (50ft. or greater)

• Stay alert and focus up to 12.5 hours while performing repetitive tasks and route actions

• Bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach, identify, patch out, entwice, wear PPE as well as lash modifications ... etc.

• Prior experience or ability to use heavy-duty PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, coveralls, work gloves, respirator, hearing protection)

• Inspect safety equipment and PPE for any problem and safety issues on ongoing basis

• Assist with inspections, slippings, and cutting drilling line

• One (1) year of stable work history

• Six (6) months stable related work history (e.g., farming, ranching, construction, heavy equipment or other trade) or military service

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

This position requires the person to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including but is not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, coveralls, work gloves, respirator, and hearing protection etc.
