We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's Accounting & Finance team. This role involves managing day-to-day general ledger (GL) accounting. Key responsibilities include preparing balance sheet account reconciliations, conducting income statement flux analysis, managing state and local tax payments, and handling complex accounting projects. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $115,000 per year.

Job Description:

Prepare and record entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses by compiling and analyzing financial transactions.
Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
Review trial balances and prepare reconciling entries to maintain the general ledger.
Participate in general ledger accounting tasks, including month-end close, prepaids, expense accruals, flux analysis, and reporting.
Assist in identifying and improving controls and processes.
Summarize financial status by collecting and analyzing information.
Collaborate on complex accounting projects and initiatives with other team members and management.

Requirements:

Familiarity with SOX compliance.
Experience with PPE or understanding of the full PPE cycle.
Proficiency in Net Suite and researching GAAP guidance.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including heavy use of Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and VLOOKUP.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience.
Experience with PPE or understanding of the full PPE cycle.
