Office Administrator/ Coordinator
The Aerospace Corporation, a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC), partners with the nation’s space programs to deliver solutions across satellite, launch, ground, and cyber systems for defense, civil, and commercial customers.
Responsibilities- Execute complex calendar, meeting, and event planning, ensuring strategic scheduling and conflict resolution.
- Prioritize critical issues and information to support efficient decision‑making for leadership.
- Act as a trusted partner and representative for the General Manager, fostering collaboration across Aerospace Enterprise Services and senior leaders.
- Enhance division processes and systems to drive organization, efficiency, and industry‑leading best practices.
- Oversee coordination of employee support, including office space management, onboarding, timesheet administration, training requirements, and supply/equipment procurement.
- Provide input on GM/Division‑level activities, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and follow‑up.
- Coordinate and facilitate special projects, tracking action items and deliverables.
- Coordinate division, corporate, and customer reports, deliverables, and organizational charts (compile, edit, publish).
- Arrange travel coordination, logistics, and expense reporting for leadership.
- Collaborate with admins across the division and corporation to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Lead by training and mentoring admins, demonstrating professionalism, team collaboration, technical expertise, and leadership consistent with the company's values.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (minimum requirement).
- Advanced administrative skills, including project coordination, strategic execution, organization, and detail orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Excel) and capable of rapid technology adoption.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: leadership, collaboration, resiliency, strategic thinking, problem‑solving, emotional intelligence, judgment, business acumen, and decision‑making.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and anticipate organizational needs.
- Capability to handle sensitive and personnel‑related information appropriately and support sensitive management functions.
- Independent self‑starter with the ability to work cooperatively in a team to initiate activities, resolve issues, and deliver innovative solutions within timelines.
- Top Secret/SSBI/SCI security clearance (issued by the U.S. government) and U.S. citizenship required to obtain a security clearance.
This is an hourly position. The grade‑based pay range is $37.44 – $56.16. Individual salaries within that range are determined by education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
