Senior Cost Analyst​/Estimator TS​/SCI clearance required

Join Tecolote Research as a Senior Cost Analyst/Estimator. This role requires an Active TS/SCI clearance.

This position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience; please discuss this with your recruiter.

Tecolote Research is seeking a Cost Analyst to support programs related to space vehicles, ground segments, software, and infrastructure for the DOD Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power community.

• Develop cost estimates, perform risk analyses, and prepare documentation
• Collaborate with program managers and technical staff to develop descriptions, strategies, and acquisition documents
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to government clients
• Analyze contractor data and generate independent projections
• Support government source selections and communicate results confidently to all levels of DoD review

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 10+ years of cost estimating experience supporting DoD, NRO, Intelligence Agencies, NASA, or NOAA
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, sciences, economics, or business;
  Master’s preferred
• Professional certifications (e.g., ICEAA, PMI, DAWIA) are desirable
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ACEIT, USCM, SEER, SSCM, NICM, COCOMO II is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Deep knowledge of DoD acquisition, cost modeling, and risk analysis
• Experience leading cost estimates and reviews; familiarity with DoD PPBE process
