Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Space Program Acquisition Specialist on our new 10 year-long SETA U.S. Space Force (USSF) program to provide support in developing and deploying space-based weapon systems capabilities within the Program Executive Office's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio in El Segundo, CA.
Location:El Segundo, California
Responsibilities for the Space Program Acquisition Specialist:- Support and advise the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership in regards to acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting and execution (PPBE).
- Develop and oversee acquisition planning briefs and documents (ESIS, ASP, ASD, etc.).
- Develop overarching program planning and execution documents from DODI 5000.02 and relevant DOD, AF, and SMC policies.
- Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design / milestone reviews to assess progress, risks, and issues to achieve requirements.
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance - SAP
- Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field
- 7+ years (with Bachelors) or 5+ years (with a Masters) of experience with acquisition and program management within the military and or intelligence community field
- Experience interfacing with acquisition offices
- Salary range: $140,000 - $175,000 (Pay based on years of experience and education)
