Are you a dynamic, innovative, and results-oriented professional with a passion for commercial construction? We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Commercial Construction - Project Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects within the commercial sector, including life sciences, healthcare, office, retail, and restaurants. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall project timeline, project cost, and resource requirements.
  • Schedule and supervise all construction activities, ensuring all safety regulations and quality standards are met.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
  • Review and approve contractor s invoices and change orders, ensuring they align with the work completed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks, anticipating and resolving any potential problems.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a focus on life sciences, healthcare, office, retail, and restaurant projects.
  • A bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
  • Expertise in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and reviewing construction plans, contracts, and other documents.
  • Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • A proven track record of successfully completing construction projects within budget and on time.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or a related field is a plus.
