We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager in the commercial construction industry with a focus on Tenant Improvement (TI), Ground up construction, Office, Corporate Office, Healthcare, Education, Life Sciences, Industrial, Retail, Restaurant, Renovation, and Commercial Projects. This is a full‑time, permanent position where you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, from bidding to closeout. You will be utilizing software such as Procore for project management, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and value engineering.
This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
- Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer, including administrative staff, workers, or clients.
- Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.
- Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans, using computer models.
- Conduct feasibility studies, including soil testing and/or material testing.
- Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
- Perform, or contract others to perform, pre‑building assessments, such as conceptual cost estimating, rough order of magnitude estimating, feasibility, or energy efficiency and environmental impact assessments.
- Apply for and obtain all necessary permits or licenses.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in TI, Ground up construction, Office, Corporate Office, Healthcare, Education, Life Sciences, Industrial, Retail, Restaurant, Renovation, and Commercial Projects.
- Proficiency in project management software, specifically Procore.
- Excellent understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with construction/ project management software.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A team player with leadership abilities.
- PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
