Math Tutor

Mathnasium of El Segundo is now hiring Math Instructors/Tutors! Are you great at math and love teaching kids? As a math instructor, you will work with children from Kinder to 12th grade in a fun group setting at our center. We offer part‑time positions with flexible scheduling and opportunities to earn bonuses based on performance indicators.

• Great math skills through Algebra I
• Excellent communication and multi‑tasking skills
• Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
• Energetic and confident personality
• Must pass a Math employment test that covers elementary to Algebra 1 skills

• The ideal candidate should have experience as a math tutor, mathematics tutor, experience in tutoring middle/high school students, or have a background as a math teacher
• Ability to teach students in upper level high school math courses
• Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students (a plus but not necessary)

Hours will vary, but generally are afternoon and evenings Monday to Friday from 3‑7pm. Tutoring occurs in our safe commercial center. No in‑home tutoring. Pay is competitive plus bonuses and is based on education and experience. This is a part‑time position with advancement opportunities.
