Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Senior Electrical Engineer, ALG, Amazon Leo Government

Overview

Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo Government (ALG) aims to leverage Kuiper technology to deliver high speed, low latency, and secure satellite broadband services to the United States and allied government customers.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead analysis and design solutions focusing on satellite and ground system design, and on the electronics sub-systems' communication and control needs (compute, storage, data transfer, etc.). They will guide tasks from schematic design and component selection to circuit analysis, simulation, layout review, board bring-up, and test. The role requires collaboration across teams, supporting fellow engineers with design reviews and joint reports and proposals, and conducting trades to ensure solutions meet customer goals.

The candidate should have experience working on complex programs with diverse teams and partner organizations (including government agencies), and show potential to lead small sub-teams of electrical engineers and produce clear, technically compelling written reports.

Code: 10037
