Overview
Who We Are
Picogrid is a leading venture-backed defense technology company founded to bridge the decades-long gap between modern technology and the critical demands of national security. Today, we're building the essential infrastructure to unify sensors, autonomy, and operators with our technology deployed in active operations around the world. Our mission is to deliver an operational advantage to secure the United States and its allies.
This Role
Picogrid is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, build, and deploy mission-critical hardware systems that support U.S. defense operations. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of embedded systems, mechanical integration, and high-reliability design, where you will own key electrical components that power connected autonomous systems in the field.
You will own the full design lifecycle for various hardware products: from rapid prototyping and validation through production and direct field deployment. Your work is not bench-bound; you will collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and deployment teams to ensure systems operate reliably in harsh environments from deserts to flight lines to active field operations. Expect fast iteration and minimal layers between your engineering and the end user, driving real-world mission impact.
