At Vantor, you’ll work with the U.S. Space Force as part of the effort to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle.
Within this role, you will guide the program through the critical shift from development, integration, and test into operational acceptance and long-term sustainment. You will work across government, FFRDC, and contractor teams to ensure space and ground systems are operationally ready, supportable, and aligned with user needs. Your leadership will help shape operational concepts, readiness criteria, and transition plans for a highest-priority military space program.
Your functional expertise, communication and collaboration skills, and attention to detail will be vital as you contribute to the acquisition and development of space sensing capabilities.

Qualifications:
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
6+ years of experience supporting large-scale national security space missions in systems engineering and integration
5+ years of experience leading or supporting Transition to Operations (TTO) efforts for DoD space or ground software programs
Experience with space operations or ground segment operations, including test, checkout, and operational acceptance
Experience with DoD acquisition programs, stakeholder engagement, and program or project management
Knowledge of systems engineering management and processes, including life-cycle integration, requirements development, verification and validation, test, and integration
Ability to communicate clearly and build collaborative relationships with government clients, FFRDCs, and contractor teammates
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate initiative, and contribute to the national security mission
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SPF 13-604
TS/SCI clearance
Masters degree in a STEM field
