Work Model

This is a full‑time, 100% onsite position located in either El Segundo, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, or Chantilly, VA.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Work closely with our cross‑mission focused program offices and customers to translate their program needs into modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks.
  • Represent the Cross‑Mission Effectiveness Department as a technical authority in your area(s) of expertise.
  • Independently lead and contribute to technical analysis projects to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent team deliveries.
  • Exercise your expertise in understanding, modeling, and analyzing enterprise‑level integrated missions.
  • Develop and present briefings and reports for program offices and customers.
  • Mentor junior staff members on technical and professional development subjects and contribute to a learning environment where it is encouraged to share ideas and feedback.
  • Travel occasionally as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (aerospace, astronautical, mechanical, or software), computer science, physics, operations research, or closely related technical field from an accredited school.
  • 10 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/scientific experience, including multi‑disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments.
  • Experience with missile tracking, missile defense, general tracking concepts, estimation theory, OPIR and RADAR system contributions to tracking.
  • Demonstrated strength in sensor‑ and architecture‑level simulations and mission performance assessments.
  • Technical understanding of space operations, red vs blue simulations, military utility and capability drawdown, killchain effectiveness, enterprise architecture resiliency, and/or command and control (C2).
  • Advanced experience with Python and C++.
  • Familiarity with Digital Engineering including modern software development methodologies, tools and processes, distributed frameworks, API development, and cloud computing.
  • Demonstrated high level of creativity, initiative, and self‑motivation.
  • Ability to work on dynamic assignments and adapt to changing customer expectations.
  • Collaboration skills for integrating across organizational boundaries and with multiple customers to drive impactful, end‑to‑end solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Current Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

  • Proficiency with the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM).
  • Widely recognized by peers, management, program offices, customers, and contractors for delivering high‑impact solutions to complex, cross‑organizational problems.
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Community, U.S. Department of Defense, and Department of the Air Force business practices and programs.
  • Current Top Secret/SCI Clearance with polygraph, and special programs access.
Compensation

Pay range: $166,400 – $249,600 per year. Pay basis: annual.
