Entry-level Digital Electronics Circuit & Unit Hardware Design Engineer

Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems offers an entry‑level Digital Electronics Circuit & Unit Hardware Design Engineer position located in El Segundo, CA.

The Engineer will develop state‑of‑the‑art digital circuit and unit hardware for aerospace applications, work with cross‑functional teams, and support production and testing activities.

• Design and development of state‑of‑the‑art digital circuit & unit hardware / digital electronics for aerospace applications
• Duties will include electronics design, requirements and interface definition, modeling and analysis, testing, performance and design verification
• Technical support for production and test of electronic products
• Support projects involving Electronics design
• Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products
• Develop detailed designs of limited scope
• Conduct various methods of testing and analysis to support design
• Capture data for technical performance measures and performs basic analysis
• Provide basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product. Conducts trade studies and literature research to support future product designs

• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or a non‑U.S. equivalent directly related to the work statement
• Experience or coursework with Analog or Digital Electronics, Circuits, or Hardware

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• Industry experience with digital electronics hardware development;
  Circuit design and analysis experience
• Experience in designing, analyzing and testing complex Electronic Circuit Card Assemblies and Units, including generating schematics, performing IR drop, signal integrity and timing analysis
• Experience with schematic capture and layout rules, and circuit analysis tools
• Firmware, Microprocessor or other Hardware oriented experience can be helpful
• Active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance
